Godson Nyema Owhoji is a Senior Attorney and Co-founder of Benjamin Solicitors. He is a resilient, determined, enthusiastic, dedicated, and analytical lawyer who has the experience to match client’s legal needs.

He began his journey into the legal profession with the Legal Aids Council of Nigeria in 2005. While with the Legal Aids Council, he also rendered legal services to Access To Justice, a DFID legal program in the Ekiti State of Nigeria where indigent members of the society are given pro-bono service in criminal cases. He was the Coordinator of the programme in 2004/2005.

Godson had his legal tutelage with the prestigious Firm of M. F. Abdulraheem & Co. in Port Harcourt Nigeria. He committed ten years of legal tutelage and experience with the firm. He is experienced and demonstrates professionalism in both civil and criminal litigation. His core areas of interest include but are not limited to debt recovery, employment law, property and land law, environmental law, maritime, oil and gas. He has maintained a progressive legal career since his call to the Nigerian Bar in 2004.

He is a committed member of the Nigerian Bar Association. He was the Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, Isiokpo branch between 2018 and 2020. He is also a member of the African Bar Association.

Godson is a graduate of the Faculty of Law, Rivers State University of Science and Technology now Rivers State University.
